I met Dominique and Brian as a couple back in January when we met at Dogwood to talk about their wedding. I have known Dominique since high school from being teammates on the Hopkins Cross Country team, so it was a fun coincidence that they got married at place we were both very familiar with: our home cross country course Gale Woods Farm.
However, instead of lacing up her spikes and racing, Dominque and Brian spent the day celebrating their love at Gale Woods Farm, and it was beautiful! We were all hoping for the rain to hold off all day, and I’m so glad it did because we got to capture so much greenery!
There were so many personal touches to their day — one of the most special being their dessert table. Dominique commissioned her friends and family to contribute to the dessert table, which was filled with THE most beautiful and delicious desserts, and a gorgeous cake her grandma made. Her grandma had told me that Dominique was really hoping for a dried fig garnish on the cake, and she searched everywhere and finally found one (and the cake turned out amazing!).
See below for all of my favorite photos from of this wedding day, I hope they speak all of the love & joy that was surrounding Dominique & Brian that day.
